Arthur M. Cameron of Lewiston, 92, died of causes related to age Monday morning at Valley Rehabilitation and Care Center at Lewiston.

He was born May 23, 1899, at Kahoka, Mo., to William T. and Lucy Martin Cameron.

The family moved to Clarkston in 1901 and came north to the Moscow area the following year. He attended Randall Flat and Pine Grove country schools near Moscow and later attended a small business college at Moscow.

He worked for The Washington Water Power Co. for a short time before returning to farming. He farmed in the Linville area for most of his life. After retiring from farming himself, he worked for Guske Brothers at Moscow.

He was a lifetime member of the Moscow Elks Lodge and was past chairman of the Latah County Grain Growers. He enjoyed fishing and trading cars.

He married Rose Glass in 1973 at Lewiston.

Survivors include his wife at the family home at Lewiston; a daughter, Whinnie Rie Lieble; a brother, Clarence Cameron of Lewiston; two sisters, Patty Weigand and Jacky Wealdon, both of Spokane; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Two sons from a previous marriage, three brothers and a sister died previously.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Short's Funeral Chapel at Moscow with members of the Moscow Elks Lodge conducting. A private burial will be at the Moscow Cemetery.
