LEWISPORT - William "Eddie" Carrico, 74, of Maceo died Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at Heartland Villa in Lewisport, after a long illness. He was born in Knottsville to his late parents, Ernest and Elizabeth Wathen Carrico in 1939. He was a sheet metal worker, and worked out of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 20 in Evansville. Eddie was a member of Maceo Baptist Church. He loved to build things, travel and garden. He was preceded in death by his one daughter and two sons. Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years, Frances; his two stepsons; one son; one daughter; 12 brothers and sisters; one stepgranddaughter; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Taylor-Wood Funeral Home Chapel and after 9 a.m. Wednesday with services starting at 11 a.m. Brother Scott Ford will officiate.
