William Chester Buttram, age 84, of Rainsville, AL, died Saturday, February 17, 1990 at BMC-DeKalb.
Funeral was held Monday, Feb. 19 at the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Guss Buttram and Ed Whitton officiating. Burial followed in the Union Grove Cemetery with Rainsville Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include: sons: Gene Don, and W. C. Buttram, all of Rainsville; Charles Buttram of Dutton; and Waymon Buttram of Geraldine; daughters: Avonell Anderson of Dutton, Sue Johnson and Barbara Fairris, both of Rainsville; sisters: Sally Mitchell of Birmingham, Mary Taylor of Valley Head, and Charlie Sizemore of Sylvania; 41 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
