MARGARET M. BALLARD, age 92, of Houston, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013. Margaret was known for her elegance, style and independence. She was also a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. Wallace B. Ballard; son, Alan M. Ballard; and her longtime friend, Bob

. She is survived by her son, Jim Ballard and wife Connie; daughter, Lisa Worcester and husband Chad; grandson, Garrett Ballard and wife Sara; granddaughter, Jennifer Tully and husband Trevor; and great grandchildren, Tate Tully and Audrey Ballard.
Friends are invited to a visitation with the family from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Sunday, September 22, 2013, at The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land (Williams Trace Exit). Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, September 23, 2013, at Willow Meadows Baptist Church, 4300 W. Bellfort, Houston. Interment will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, Houston.
