Dana Allen Clark, Sr., 69. A native of Carter County, living in Hampton, he was a son of the late Jessie B. and Gladys Garland Clark.
Mr. Clark was a retired supervisor with North American Rayon Corporation.
He attended the Free Will Baptist Church.
Dana had served in the United States Army, & he was a member of the Roan Mountain Masonic Lodge #566.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa Clark; one daughter, Debbie Clark Gragg, of Linville, NC; one son, Dana Allen Clark, Jr., of Hampton; one step-daughter, Heather Holly Clark, of Elizabethton; one granddaughter, Kristi Michelle Clark, Hampton; one grandson, Jeffery Glenn Clark, of Hampton; four sisters, Alice Birchfield, of Unicoi; Geraldean Lacy, of Roan Mountain; Rebecca Street and Judy Perdue, both of Hampton; two brothers, Newton "Bud" Clark, of Hampton; Sammy Clark, of Shreveport, Louisiana, and one special nephew, Michael Ingram, of Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services were conducted on Wednesday, November 5, 2003 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Mark Street and Rev. Daniel Whetstine officiating. Sid Gragg provided the music.
