Stan was born in Buffalo, New York, the son of Stanislaus (Stanley) and Angeline Odrzywolski. Stan grew up with his siblings: Sophie, Louisa, Matthew, Viola, Stella, Jeanette and Theresa at 854 Clinton Street and 131 Lord Street in the City of Buffalo, New York.
Stan was very well educated. He attended college. Stan worked as an electrician in the steel plant. Later, Stan became a teacher at the Erie County Technical Institute.
Stan married Helen Dubel in the summer of 1945. Helen died from burns in a fire in 1946. They had no children.
Stan changed his last name to Odre.
Stan married Stella P. Pruski. Their son Edward died. They raised two more sons: Steven and Daniel at Briscoe Avenue in Buffalo, New York.
Stan died of a heart attack while watching his son play football.
