Jamison, Jan 28 [1920] - Mrs Catherine Matilda Bozard died January 16, while visiting at the home of Miss Gussie Pitthan in Orangeburg. She suffered an attacked of heart failure, and living about an hour [sic].
She leaves the following children who deeply mourn the loss of a faithful mother: Walter L Bozard, Mrs William M Thomas, Mrs James W Barr and Thomas A Bozard. She also leaves two sisters ad three brothers, several grandchildren and a host of friends.
With the REv W R Davis officiating, she was laid to rest on January 17 in Fourholes cemetery beside her late husband, John R Bozard, who preceded her to the grave by five years and two days. She was 69 years of age. She was a member of Fourholes Baptist church since her girlhood days.
