Surviving are a son, Larry (Tanya), McComb; two sisters-in-law: Jean Abbott, Leipsic, and Willie Abbott, Findlay; and five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter-in-law, Connie Abbott; two brothers: Roy and Kenneth; and three sisters: Inez Bixler, Kathryn Burbank and Irma Jean Niese.
A farmer, he operated a farm ditching business for 20 years. He was a member of Leipsic United Methodist Church and a member of the former Belmore United Methodist Church; a US Army WWII Veteran; member of the Farm Bureau and National Farmers Union.
Funeral service will be at Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Leipsic, with Rev. Bill Patterson officiating.
