Death Claims Garrett Guy Bostick, 41. Funeral Services Held Thursday For New Market Man. Garrett Guy Bostick, 41, died at his home near New Market at 6:30 o'clock Wednesday morning. Funeral services were held at the
Mountain Fork Primitive Baptist church Thursday afternoon, with elder R.A. Fanning officiating. Interment was made in the State Line cemetery.
Surviving are the mother, Mrs. Mattie Louise Bostick; one sister, Mrs. Barney E. Howard of New Market; one niece and six nephews. Active pallbearers at the funeral included Glynn Reeves, Ira Reeves, Russell Reeves, B. E. Howard, John Johnson and Leon Morris.

Garrett Guy Boctick was the son of William Dennis Bostick and Mattie Louise Pearce. He married first: Minnie Lou Syler in Lincoln County, Tennessee June 18,1917. He married second: Lula Mae McWhirter in Akron Summit County, Ohio 11 June 1930 he had no children.In 1910 he was hired hand on the Allen W. Petty farm in Meridianville, Alabama. In 1930 he was living with his sister and brother in law Barney Howard in Akron , Summit county, Ohio.
