OBITUARY-
Lloyd J. "Buzz" Bardouche, 84, of Austin, died Thursday morning, Oct. 12, 2000 at Adams Healthcare Center, Adams.
He was born Dec. 6, 1915, at Austin to August and Grace (Hallman) Bardouche.
After attending Austin schools, he married Mary Yauger on May 25, 1935.
He served in the Army during World War II and was a corporal in the 725th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Search Light Battery.
After World War II, he was hired at George A. Hormel & Co., where he worked for more than 40 years.
He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church of Austin and enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and traveling. He also belonged to the Austin Moose Lodge, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Carey, Auburn, Wash.; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Arnold Dahl, Wabasha, and Jack (Darlene) Yauger, Austin; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary in 1997; a son, Joe, in 1995; and his parents.
Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Worlein Funeral Home, Austin, with the Rev. Andrew Lindahl officiating; Cindy Jayes, soloist, and Darlene Berhow, organ accompanist.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday and an hour before services Tuesday.
Interment: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery, rural Austin, with graveside military rites by American Legion Post No. 91 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1216 and honorary casket bearers Dale Dahl, Richard Dahl, Donald Goslee, Vernon Graff, Michael Yauger and Robert Yauger.
