Virginia E. ‘Ginny’ Brock, 57, of Allenspark died Monday Sept. 20, 2004, at Longmont United Hospital from advanced breast cancer. She was born July 28, 1947, in Longmont to Joseph and Agnes (Kellogg) Drieth. She attended Longmont Schools and graduated from Longmont High School in 1966. She married Kenneth Brock April 23, 1966, in Longmont. She was a homemaker and enjoyed needlepoint, living in the mountains, and her flowers. She was a member of Allenspark Community Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Drieth and her brother-in-law Gary Davis. She is survived by her husband of Allenspark; two sons, Dan Brock of Fort Collins and Dave Brock and his wife Claire of Eau Clare, Wis.; her mother of Longmont; one granddaughter Alexandria Brock of Fort Collins; a sister Sharon Davis; her brother William Drieth and his wife Vicky; nephews Sean and Scott Drieth and Lyle and Steve Davis all of Longmont; niece Christy Drieth and numerous aunts and uncles. Funeral service was Thursday Sept. 23 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Rex Roth of Allenspark Community Church officiating. Interment was in Foothills Gardens of Memory.
