ASHLAND: Catherine J. "Kay" Wentz Hamilton, 93, formerly of Ashland, passed away Saturday, August 17th in Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Mansfield, Ohio on November 13, 1919 to George and Rose (Stehle) Wentz. She graduated from Ontario High School in 1937. On September 30, 1939 she married Harry B. Hamilton Jr. who pre-deceased her in June 2003.Kay lived most of her life in Ashland. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed collecting antiques. She is survived by daughter, Martha Kay (Calvin) Cole of Worthington, Ohio; son, John (Janet) Hamilton of Palm Harbor, Florida; four grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and three sisters. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Denbow-Primm-Kemery Funeral Home conducted by Pastor Tom Zuercher. Burial will be in the Ashland Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Monday August 26th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
