Clifton Cecil Herlong was the son of Cecil Clifton Herlong and Edna Ida (Brown)Herlong/Odom. He married Minnie Mae Hamby in Morehouse Parish on September 26, 1949. He was survived by his wife; Minnie and three children; a daughter, Carolyn Cecil(Herlong) Bullock; a son, Early Eugene Herlong; and a daugher Sharon Elaine(Herlong)Harrell.
