John David Brown, 46, of Shelbyville, passed away, Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Kindred Hospital South in Greenwood.

He was born December 27, 1966, in Shelbyville, the son of Tolly and Mary Lou (Cox) Brown. He married Sharon Adcock on May 26, 2001, and she survives.

Other survivors include his son, Johnathen Andrew "Drew" Brown of Greenwood; several aunts, uncles and cousins and lots of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

John was a lifelong resident of Shelbyville.

He graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1984-85.

John was formerly employed as an oil and lube technician at the Grease Pit, Sandman Brothers and Walmart.

He was a member of the CB Radio Club and enjoyed listening to music and watching sports, especially the Cubs.

John also leaves behind his dogs, Prancer and Pug.

Services will be announced by Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St.
