Rites for Farmer

William Henry Conley, farmer
of Franklin, Route 3, died October
18 at the home of a daughter,
Mrs. Lem Holland, following an
illness of 10 days.
A native of Macon County, he
was 75.
Funeral services were held the
19th at Dryman's Chapel Meth-
odist Church by the Rev. R. L.
Poindexter. Burial was in the
church cemetery.
Born Sept. 4, 1889, Mr. Conley
was the son of Jim and Mrs.
Nancy Wright Conley. He was a
Methodist and was married Nov.
9, 1908, to Miss Mary Ella Justice
of the county, who survives
Surviving, in addition to his
wife and daughter, is a brother,
Geroge Conley, of Franklin, Route
2.
Pallbearers were Fred Crisp,
Ralph Cunningham, Wade Morgan,
Louie Holland, Clark Brown,
and Sam Holland.
Bryant Funeral Home was in
charge of arrangement.
