Basil J. Corbine, age 81, resident of Reserve, WI, passed away at his home in Cable on Sunday, Dec. 28. He had been living in Cable the past two years.
Mr. Corbine was born Feb. 2, 1877, at Reserve. he had worked for the Hines Lumber Company for many years and the Zion Industries at Zion, IL, prior to his retirement several years ago.
His wife and six children preceded him in death.
Surviving are two grandchildren, Georgina Tainter of Reserve and Florence Miller of Barnum, MN; 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Corbine was a member of the St. Francis Solanus Mission Church at Reserve.
The body was removed from the Koerpel Funeral Home to the family residence at Reserve on Tuesday. Funeral services were conducted from the St. Francis Solanus Mission Church Wednesday, Dec. 31, with the Rev. Father Inglehart officiating. Interment followed in the St. Francis Cemetery.
