George was born to George Francis McNamee and Kathryn Mae Gannon of Chicago. He was the brother of Katherine (Kaye), Donald, Rodger, Graham, and Joan. George was an excellent salesman and he made the best corned beef and cabbage and Thanksgiving dressing. He enjoyed gardening and playing cards. And having dinner at Bud's Tamashaw with friends.
He married Irene Kelly on 10 Feb 1940 at St. Mel's church in Cicero, IL. The family moved to Wisconsin before 1950. Where they lived on 3rd street near St. Jerome's school. They had 3 sons, Patrick, Donald, and Michael.
At the time of his death, he was survived by his mother, his sisters and brothers, his wife, 3 sons, 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild. He has been missed.
