Robert was a farmer. They had 2 sons and 6 daughters. Robert and Martha had a daughter (not listed below), Mary Frances "Fannie" "Puss" Batten. I don't know where she is buried.

There was no Robert Batten taxed in 1891 (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QHV-63CH-68F4).
