Mrs. Julia Besonie, age 70, resident of Lac Court Oreilles, died in Hayward on Thursday, Dec. 28, 1972.

She was born in Luck, WI, on May 5, 1902. When a young girl she came with her parents to the Town of Sand Lake. She was married to Henry Besoni at Lac Court Oreilles and he preceded her in death.

She was a member of St. Francis Solanus Catholic Mission Church at Reserve.

Survivors are 2 daughters, Mrs. Vincent (Ethel) Quarderer, Stone Lake, WI, and Mrs. Dorothy Marquardt, Milwaukee, WI; 2 sisters, Mrs. Susie Kagigebi, Minneapolis, MN, and Mrs. Sarah Wade, Stone Lake, WI; 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church in Reserve on Saturday at 10 A.M. with Celebrant Father Kurt OFM officiating at the Mass. Interment will be in St. Francis Church Cemetery in the spring of the year.

Rosary services were held at the Vincent Quarderer residence on Friday evening at 7:30 P.M. The Anderson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
