He attended Kent State University and the University of Akron, served in the U.S. Army and retired as a rubber chemist at General Tire in 1985. He continued to work in the rubber industry in Maryland and Virginia. He enjoyed building remote control model airplanes, woodworking and singing in the choir at Lakeview Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anna and Harry Dundon; and sister, Phyllis. Wayne is survived by his wife of 50 years, Vonda; daughter, Carrie (Ron) Parker; son, Christopher (Maureen); grandchildren, 1st Lieutenant Jake Glover and Jean Glover; sister, Norma Eldridge; as well as many loving relatives and friends.
