George S. Ivey of West Chester, PA

George S. Ivey, 67, of West Chester, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 under the care of the Neighborhood Hospice of West Chester.

Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late Marie E. (Stewart) and Johnnie A. Ivey Sr.

An area resident his entire life, he graduated from the West Chester Joint Junior/Senior High.

George was employed as truck driver.

He was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church of West Chester.

He was a member of many antique tractor and small engine clubs. He was also a gun and model train collector.

George is survived by his two sons, David N. Ivey, husband of Sheri, of Wagontown and Michael K. Ivey of Honey Brook; three grandchildren; and his sister, Marie Sole, wife of Daniel, of Honey Brook.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11, from the Wagontown Volunteer Fire Company, 412 W. Kings Hwy., Coatesville, PA 19320.
