The funeral for Harold Lee Taylor, 55, of Rt. 1, Elkton will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at Elkton
Evangelical United Methodist Church.

The Rev. Ronald T. Davidson will officiate. Burial will be in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Harrisonburg.

Mr. Taylor died Tuesday afternoon of an apparent heart attack at Rockingham Memorial Hospital. He had been admitted to the hospital Sunday.

He was born Dec. 16,1925, in Madison County and was the son of Annie Bates Taylor of Rt. 1, Elkton and the late Bernie Lee Taylor.

He moved to Elkton in 1943 and worked for Elkton Milling Co. until he retired because of ill health.

On July 30,1943, he married the former Margie Lawson, who survives.

In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Taylor is survived by two sons, Charles D. and Jerry H. Taylor, both of Rt. 1, Elkton; a daughter, Linda Morris of Shenandoah; four brothers, Irvin, Melvin and Ivan Taylor, all of Rt. 1, Elkton, and Rodney Taylor of Grottoes; and 10 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. today at the Kyger and Trobaugh Funeral Home.
