Elmer T. Blankenbaker, 76, of Spotsylvania County died today at McGuire Veterans Hospital in Richmond.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bessie Blankenbaker; a daughter, Mrs. E. G. Coe of Brunswick, Maine; a sister, Mrs. Lelia Dunavant of Spotsylvania and two granddaughters.
A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 pm at Johnson's Funeral Home, Locust Grove, by Rev Ernest Pollard. Interment will be in Eley's Ford Church Cemetery, Spotsylvania.
Pallbearers will be Delmar, James, Thomas and Clyde Blankenbaker, Robert Carpenter, Roger McGhee , Carlton Robinson and Lonnie Jones.
