THE GARFIELD BOOSTER
January 20, 1916

W.J. Holland died at his home in this city yesterday morning, of pneumonia, aged 59 years and 25 days. Funeral services will be held at the house this afternoon, conducted by Rev. W.E. Dull.

Mr. Holland moved here from Oklahoma about two months ago and shortly after they arrived, his wife was taken sick. She had recovered when he was taken with the disease which caused his death.

His son, M.G., has been working at Byers' barber shop all summer and another son, E.E., has been here since the beginning of harvest.

There is left to mourn his death, besides the wife, seven children: M.G., E.E., Alfred and Millie, all of Garfield, Mrs. Reed of Colo., and two Mrs. Johns, who married brothers, of Oklahoma.

The Booster joins in extending the sympathy of the community in this extremely sad death.
