Helen E. Miller, 93, Wichita, formerly of Woodston, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, at her home.
She was born June 15, 1914, to Arthur Harry and Ola June (Reeves) Chapel. She graduated from Woodston High School and received her teaching certificate from Fort Hays Teachers College.
She married Jene Harlan "Buck" Miller on Sept. 23, 1929,in Woodston. He preceded her in death on Nov. 19, 1987. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Jene Miller, and Gary Berry, both of Wichita; a daughter, Karen Carlson, Salina; four grandchildren, Matt and Wes Carlson, Todd Caton, Dominique Miller, great-grandchildren, Tyler, Ashley and Alyssa
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gay Lynn Surles, a son, Donald Lee Miller, and a granddaughter, Nikki Miller.
Private services will be Tuesday in Pleasant Plain Cemetery southeast of Woodston.
