Regina Mardell Benningfield, 79, of Shelbyville died Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Jewish Hospital in Shelbyville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Benningfield.

She is survived by her daughter, Connie Benningfield, Shelbyville; sisters, Rosemary Mardis (Burr), Campbellsville; Deanie Price, Mt. Washington; brothers, Leonard Ford (Sue), Dennis Ford (Juanita), Raymond Ford (Sharon), all of Campbellsville; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 3, 2013 at the Shannon Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Newton and Rev. Roy Temple, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be after 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 3rd at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
