Shirley Ann Keller, 78, of Aurora passed away on Monday, July 8, 2013 at her home. She was born May 12, 1935 in Patch Grove, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Yale and Alta Shepherd.

Shirley always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed bingo, writing poetry and especially treasured the time that she spent with family and friends. Above all, she was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Shirley was a longtime member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. She worked at Mercy Center in the kitchen for 22 years and also served as an election judge for many years.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 56 years, Henry "Jack" Keller, of Aurora, her children, Connie (Jeff) Land of Paw Paw, Joe (Jill) Keller, of Aurora, Mary (Andy) Britton, of Montgomery and Brenda (Rich Porter) Keller, of Montgomery, eight grandchildren, William Land, of Sandwich, Joey Keller, of Orlando, Florida, Daniel and Samuel Keller, both of Aurora, Jennifer (Robin) Narney, of Jackson, Tennessee, Jaclyn Britton, of Montgomery, A.J. Britton, of Montgomery and Riki Duck, of Aurora, four great grandchildren, Lilly and Aubrey Land, Riki Lee Duck, Jr. and Kaylee Forth, and a sister, Barbara Nussbaum, of North Aurora.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy, Wendy Elizabeth Keller and a brother, Yale Shepherd.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 925 Sard Av., Aurora with Fr. Joachim Tyrtania officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 P.M. on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Pl., Aurora. A liturgical wake service will take place at 6 P.M.
