Richard 'Buck' Earl Waters was born and raised in Stamford; second son of Earl M. Waters and Mary E. Szinyai Waters; he passed on May 5, 2013 in Florida at age 70.
Following the family tradition, he sought a career in transportation, working many years for Marshall's Express. Buck finally achieved his dream by moving to Florida to become a long distance truck driver until his retirement. Buck will be remembered for his quick wit, ready smile and love of family. He will be greatly missed by both family and friends.
Surviving him are his brother, Robert Waters of Stamford; his ex-wife, Donna Gullett of Florida; daughters, Mrs Jodie (Raymond) Brunetti of Florida and Mrs Shannon (Chola) Shay of Pennsylvania; two granddaughters, Julia and Bailey and several nephews and a niece.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his oldest brother, William Waters Sr.
A small celebration of his life was held at Dade City Historical Cemetery.
