Flora was the daughter of Lorenzo and Adeline (Davis) Morrison.
In the 1880 census Flora was shown boarding in the same Windsor residence as her future husband. Her profession was listed as domestic servant.
On February 19, 1881, she married Roswell H. Boyd, who made his living as a tinsmith. They had three children, one of whom died young.
After Roswell died, Flora continued to live with her unmarried children, Ethel and Eldred. She was a member of the All Souls Unitarian Church, and the Woman's Alliance.
