COLWELL — Roy Victor Ahart, 95 of Colwell, formerly of Marble Rock, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013, at his residence in Colwell.
Memorial services for Roy Victor Ahart, 95, of Marble Rock will be 2 p.m., July 20, 2013, at Reid's Funeral Chapel, 423 Bradford St., Marble Rock, followed by a Grave Side Service at Westside Cemetery where Military Honors will be conducted by the Straud-Gates Post 387, American Legion of Marble Rock.
Roy Victor Ahart was born July 5, 1917, in Union Township, Floyd County, Iowa, the son of Loren Frank and Laurel (Ackley) Ahart and died June 29, 2013, at his residence.
Living family members include one son, Terry; one daughter, Mary; three grandchildren: Nicolle, Luke, and Jesse; six greatgrandchildren: Cheyne, Cheyenne, Logan, Jayden, Hailey, and Grace; one sister, Lucille; numerous other family members and friends.
Roy was preceded in death by his loving wife, Grace, of 68 years and one daughter.
