William "Buddy" Theodore Holland, 62, passed away on June 25, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS. He was a heavy equipment operator with APAC, and was baptized according to the Rites of the Holy Roman Catholic Church in Staten Island, NC. He, like his father, and son, was also a Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rick Holland and Theresa Kane Holland; sisters, Rickie Jean Garner and Mary Alice Cody; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Nicole Worley.
He is survived by his wife, Lana Marie Turner Holland of Columbus, MS; daughters, Tabitha Koehn (Rodney) of Barron, WI . Additionally, he had two children that he gve up for adoption to his parents; those children were: Angela Darlene Tinkham of Whittier NC, sons, William Brent Holland of Canton NC and his spouse Toby Tyler Brooks-Holland, and Ricky William Worley of Canton, NC; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, June 27, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, June 28, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Welch Funeral Home. Rev. Casey Watkins will conduct the service. Burial will be in Curtis Chapel Cemetery.
