"Funeral services for Henry Andrew Johnson, 106, were conducted July 5, at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church west of Exira, with Pastor Curtis Denny officiating. Interment was in the Seventh-Day Adventist Cemetery west of Exira. Casket bearers were Gerry Johnson, Chester Krogstad, Luverne Petersen, Raymond Petersen, Del Rochholz, and Kenneth Struble."
"Henry Andrew Johnson, the son of Willie and Christina Aagaard Johnson was born Dec. 23, 1898, on a farm northwest of Exira [Hamlin township] and died June 29, 2005, at the Exira Care Center in Exira. He had eight brothers and sisters."

They lived on a farm west of Exira until 1948, when they moved into Exira to live and help care for Lena's mother. Henry farmed until the early 1990's, when he sold the farm northwest of Exira. They moved to the Exira Care Center on May 1, 1995. Lena died Sept 27, 2003, after the couple had celebrated 83 years of marriage."
