Cyrilla Allgaier, age 99, died at Bethel Lutheran Home on June 20, 2013.

Cyrilla Alice VanHove was born on November 26, 1913 at Larchwood, IA to Camille and Alice (Minneart) VanHove. The family moved to South Dakota when Cyrilla was 5.

She married William Allgaier at Madison on February 20, 1939. He preceded her in death in 1988.

She is survived by two sons - Ken (Barbara ) of Trent, SD and Bill (Carol) of Madison. One daughter - Sharon (Larry) Goodsell of Livionia, MI, 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. One sister - Erma Holzworth of Gettysberg, SD.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, 6 brothers and 2 sisters and a daughter in infancy.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, June 24, 2013 at St Thomas Aquinas Church with Rev DeWayne Kayser officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She grew up in Madison graduating from Madison High School and Skylars Beautician School. She worked as a beautician for a short time before she was married. She was a member of St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Daughters and Altar Society, Madison Garden Club, Red Cross Grey Ladies, also a former 4-H Leader and president of the Rutland PTA.

There will be a Catholic Daughter Rosary at 4:30 PM and a Parish Scripture Service at 5:00 PM on Sunday at Weiland Funeral Chapel which is in charge of the arrangements.
