"Elizabeth 'Liz' Hope Forrest, 16, of Media, an actress and singer, died Feb. 3, at the A.I. duPont Institute, Wilmington, Del.

A lifelong Media resident, she graduated from the Media Providence Friends School and was receiving her high school education through home schooling.

She was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Delaware County, where she taught Sunday School.

An actress and singer, Ms. Forrest was a member of Thespis, Etc., a Gilbert and Sullivan Group, and had taken part in productions at Hedgerow Theatre and Shoestring Productions of Brandywine Valley.

She volunteered with Life Beyond Abuse, participated in AIDS Walks and other community projects, and served as a candy striper at Chestnut Hill Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Patrick Forrest, who died in 1988.

Survivors: Mother, Nancy V. Fields Forrest; brothers Andrew Forrest of Swarthmore, David Forrest of Gettysburg, Mark Adams of East Lansdowne; grandmother, Jane W. Fields, of Media."

Unitarian Universalist Church of Delaware County Memory Garden is located to the right of the church, approaching from the street, in a grove of trees off the driveway circle that leads to the front doors of the church.
