Daughter of Cyril Briscoe Taylor and Gwendeline May Hill.
Married my father James Anthony Dowd on 11th February 1956 at Coventry Registry Office, Coventry, Warwickshire. They had three children together including myself.
My mother suffered with mental illness for most of her adult life, but l didn't know this until three years before she died, she herself wasn't even aware of it. She was diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic, when she was admitted to hospital with suspected dementia in about 1996.
Her marriage to my father was not a happy one, and they separated in 1974 but never got divorced.
She died aged 64.
Cause of death: Deep Vein Thrombosis.
