Eva B. Miller, 69, of 127 Belmont St., Carbondale, died Saturday at Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale. She was the widow of George Miller Sr.
Born in Point Pleasant, N.J., she was the daughter of Carlton and Hattie Hopkins Van Hise. She attended Allentown, N.J., High School. Over the past several years, she had been employed by Supermarket Services, Dunmore, and Haddon Craftsmen and WEA Manufacturing.
Surviving are three sons, Raymond Sloan, Union Dale, George Miller Jr. and Russell Miller, both of Carbondale; two daughters, Geraldine Sloan, Carbondale; Linda Sloan, Jackson, N.J.; a sister, Marion O'Hagen, New Egypt, N.J.; eight grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at the convenience of the family at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Jackson, N.J.
Friends may call Tuesday, 7 to 9 p.m., at the James J. Reilly Funeral Home, 62 N. Main St., Carbondale.
She was a good-hearted woman and one of the best fork-lift drivers I ever knew! She will be missed.
