MADISON — Erney C. Schluter age 73, of 2410 Upham Street, died on Saturday, September 6, 1975, at a Madison hospital. Born June 1, 1902 in the Town of Sun Prairie, he was a lifelong area resident. He was an employe of the Hankscraft Co. for over 50 years. Mr. Schluter was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, Gladys; a daughter, Mrs. Sally Martinson, 2414 Upham Street; a son, Marshall, Rt. 7, Verona; two brothers, Archie, McFarland, and Frank of Madison; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Michaelis, 30 Bryan St. and Mrs. Elsie Brockmiller, 4116 Major Ave.; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the SCHROEDER FUNERAL HOME, 3325 E. Washington Avenue, at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9, The Rev. Joel Diemer officiating. Burial in Roselawn Memorial Park. Friends may call after 4 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 8, at the funeral home.
