Lamarkas Vendell Boyd passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper. Age 32 years. He was born December 21, 1980 in Greenville, Mississippi to Larney and Brenda Johnson.
Lamarkas recently became a member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Johnie Edwards. He enjoyed fishing and playing dominos. Lamarkas loved his family and always enjoyed spending time with them. His presence and sweet smile will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his fiancé, Dorinda Garcia; two daughters, Markaiva Miller and Alaska Garcia; one son, Tamarion Fox; four stepchildren, Dontae, Erica and Pashun Garcia, Dannial Ruth; parents, Brenda Boyd Johnson and Larney Johnson, Saginaw, Michigan; grandmother, Teresa Johnson, Greenville, Mississippi; three sisters, Kimberly and Britteny Boyd, both of Saginaw, Michigan, Tasha Hemphill, Greenville, Mississippi; one brother, Larney L.L.
