Arthur passed away quietly of natural causes December 20, 2000 in Murray, Utah.
He was born Dec. 9, 1924 in Hope, Arkansas to Arthur Sr. and Alyce Ellis.
Arthur served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. While stationed in Salt Lake City he met and married the love of his life,
Doris Lyle Fitt, on January 23, 1943. He later joined the LDS Church and their marriage was sealed for eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on January 24, 1972.
One of Arthur's most treasured gifts was his family. He loved to spend as much time as he could with them. Perhaps his greatest legacy will be his unselfish giving of himself to those in need. He will be missed by all who knew him.
