Alice Faye Chapman Moose, 69,of Old Wilkesboro Rd Ext., Taylorsville, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013, at the home. She was born December 2, 1943 to the late Ray Chapman and Maxine Davis Chapman Handy of Taylorsville. She was a retired self-employed Cosmetologist and a owner of various rental properties.

She was preceded in death by her father Ray Chapman, and a long-time special friend Kent Rhodes. Survivors include her mother Maxine Davis Chapman Handy of Taylorsville, one daughter Nicole Moose Scism and husband Marcus of Taylorsville, Former husband and father of the daughter Mearil Moose of Taylorsville, two brothers Steve Chapman and wife Kathryn of Taylorsville, Mickey Chapman and wife Shelly of Taylorsville, and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be Wednesday May 22, 2013 at the Scenic Memorial Gardens in Moravian Falls at 3pm and the Reverend James Smith will officiate. Family will receive friends following the service.
