Charles F. "Charlie" Woods, 67, of Louisville, passed away Monday at Hospice & Palliative Care of Louisville's inpatient unit at Norton Healthcare Pavilion. He was a native of New Haven, KY, an Army veteran, a retired employee of Louisville Gas & Electric and formerly worked at Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corp. and Brill Plaza Drugs. He was a member of Highland Park Christian Church and an active supporter of and helper with Hester's Family Fitness. Survivors include his wife, Sue Woods; sons, Keith Woods, his wife, Deanna, and their children, Carrie and Katie, and David Woods, his wife, Kelly, and their children, Kasey and Karmen; daughters, Suzanne Boston, her husband, Lee, and their children, Eric Skaggs and Jessica Boston, and Holly Johnson, her fiancé, Eddie Bishop and children, Amber Johnson, Brittney Johnson and Dakota Bishop; two brothers, Ben A. Woods and his wife, JoAnn, and Harold Woods and his wife, Alyce; and a sister, Evelyn Dever and her husband, Harold. His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Rd., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 1-8 p.m. Thursday. Memorial gifts may go to Hospice of Louisville.
