She was married to Donald Bennett and their home of residence was Randolph County North Carolina. She was the mother of eight children; Carolyn, Ella, Patricia, John, Curtis, Donald, Dale and Andrew. She also had ten siblings; Clara Louise, Eugene Maxie, William Lynwood, Nelson Leo, Lula May, Sylvester, Vivian, Doris, Fred and Hersey Michael. Christine as she was known, passed away on January 5, 1983 at the young age of 46. She was a loving mother and wife. A service was conducted for her at the Cumby Family Funeral Home in High Point North Carolina. She is buried in Augusta Memorial Park located in Augusta County, Virginia.
