She was united in marriage to William F. Elmore in 1904 and to this union two children were born, a son, Willard, and a daughter, Mildred, both who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and three brothers.
She was survived by three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
She was a lifetime resident of the Roby community, a member of the Roby Christian Church since 1927, where she remained active as long as health permitted.
Funeral services were Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the Roby Christian Church with Bro. Paul Key officiating. Burial was in the Pilot Knob Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home of Houston.
