MORRISON, BETTY JO CLARK, 87, a resident of Oxmoor Lodge, passed away Monday, May 13, 2013 at Norton Hospital. She was born August 15, 1925 in Louisville, KY to the late Raymond Gilbert and Nellie Elizabeth LeBanc Clark, and cherished by her step-father, Homer Emmons Thomason. Along with her mother and step-father, whose stage names were Hanlon & Clark, they traveled the world performing for the U S O troops. She was a life member of Turners, and a long time member of Grace Immanuel United Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clyde Morrison Sr.
She is survived by her loving children, along with her eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Betty Jo's life will be held at noon on Friday in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Avenue, with interment at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. -12 p.m. Friday.
