Antonio A. Russo, 80, passed away at home in Mesa, AZ, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Hoboken, he resided with his family in Middlesex before retiring to Mesa, AZ. Mr. Russo proudly served in the US Army just after WWII and during the Korean War. He was a member of the Middlesex Elks and also the American Legion Post 306. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Anna Marie Cawley Russo; a son, John Russo and his wife, Kathy, of Whitehouse Station; a daughter, Colleen Austin, and her husband, Douglas, of Queen Creek, AZ; and three grandchildren, Brandon, Kileigh and Caden Austin.
Funeral Services will begin Wednesday, 9 am at the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Rd., Middlesex followed by a 9:30 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, 600 Harris Ave., Middlesex. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Burial Park Mausoleum, Piscataway.
