Donald Moser

Donald J. “Bake” Moser, 65, La Salle, died Friday, June 24, at North Colorado Medical
Center.

He was born Oct. 26, 1917, to Jacob and Maggie (Dupper) Moser southeast of La Salle.

On Aug. 27, 1938, he married Mollie Knaub at Colorado Springs.

Moser attended North Wentz School, southeast of La Salle. He farmed in the Gill area for
several years. He returned to La Salle and continued to farm. His wife died on June 10,
1980.

He was a former board member of the Platte Valley Irrigation Co. and the Weld County
Chapter of the American Cancer Society. He attended the La Salle Presbyterian Church.

Survivors are a son, Vern of La Salle; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Wegelin of Greeley, and
Lena Hack of Zapata, Texas; four brothers, Charles of Denver, Raymond and C.A. “Joe,”
both of Greeley, and Harry of Dacono, and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Macy Allnutt Drawing Room. Interment will be
in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Contributions may be made to the Donald Moser Memorial Fund in care of Macy Allnutt
Mortuary.
