AUGUSTA, Ga. - Lucy Elizabeth Norton Collins, 86, wife of the late Lovell Collins, entered into rest Monday, May 6, 2013 at the residence. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013, at 1:00 PM in Hillcrest Memorial Park with Dr. Michael Davenport officiating. Mrs. Collins was born in Gainesville, TX to the late Frank and Nannie Truit Norton. She was a member of the Mary Culler White Circle and attended Burns United Methodist Church. She loved to garden, cook and read. She dabbled in art and was a avid rose grower. Survivors include her children, Gerald Collins of Augusta and Della Collins of Bloomington, IN; sisters, Mary Norton of Gainesville, TX and Nan Platas of Cueravaca, Mexico and her niece Ellen Riggs of Santa Fe, NM.
