She was a native of Fort Myers and had been a resident of Green Cove Springs for the past 20 years coming from High Springs. She was a homemaker. She raised six children of her own and one adopted daughter. She was a Baptist. She was an avid gardener and loved fishing and hunting. She was always helping people that needed it, even when she didn't have much herself.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Laura Leigh Thomas Losey; and her husband, Timothy Lee Poole Sr.

Surviving are five daughters, Catherine Joanne Kilpatrick of Interlachen, Judith Annette Shaw of Green Cove Springs, Sharon Dianne Morgan, Teresa Margaret Poole and Christina Marie Poole, all of Interlachen; two sons, Timothy L. Poole Jr., and Leonard E. Poole, both of Interlachen; two sisters, Joyce Marie Renfro of Cross City, and Dora Louise Robinson of North Fort Myers; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren with two on the way.
