He was born July 23, 1946 in Albion to Lois Jean Jones.
He married Christina Hallahan on July 10, 1971 in Albion.
Mr. Jones came to Battle Creek from Albion in the mid 1960s.
He was a graduate of Battle Creek Central High School.
He served in the U.S. Army from May 9th,1968 to April 29,1970 and was discharged from the Army Reserves on May 2,1974.
As an SP4 grade rank.
He was employed by Corning Glass Co. in Albion and later by Fire Extinguisher Service in Battle Creek and for the last twenty six years as a service center mechanic with the Union Pump Company.
He was a life member of the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed camping, hot air ballooning, hunting, dune buggy enthusiast, following NASCAR and football.
He was very involved in the use of his computer.Survivors include his loving wife; two daughters; two grandchildren; five brothers; many other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother,Lois Jean Jones-Rice.
