at Doctors Hospital.

A memorial service will be held 1PM Friday December 9, 2011 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home –Columbia Road Chapel. Full military honors will be accorded by the Ceremonial Detachment of Fort Gordon.

Mr. Fischer served proudly in the U.S. Army and retired after over 20 years of service to his country. Serving in the Korean War and the Vietnam Conflict. He was a loving father and grandfather who always wore a smile and would always do anything to help anyone in need. He will be missed by all who knew him. We love you Daddy.
Survivors include daughters and son-in-law Candy Fischer (Paul B.) Faulk and Kim J. McGahee; three grandchildren Michael Jones, Terry James, Jr. and Jesse James; great grandchildren Tylon Jones, T.J. and Cloey James.
